Rt. 6A in Yarmouthport, Dennis and Brewster
Rt. 6A, also called Old King's Highway, parallels the shores of Cape Cod Bay for approximately 34 miles from Bourne to Orleans. Lined with hundred year old oaks, Rt. 6A winds through Yarmouthport, Dennis and Brewster where you'll find charming shops, restaurants, art galleries and inns, many housed in former sea captain's homes from the 1700s and 1800s. Rt. 6A has been named one of the most scenic roads in the United States.

Commercial Street in Provincetown
At the tip of Cape Cod lies Provincetown, the oldest artists’ colony in the United States. Provincetown is a bustling seaside town with art galleries, shops, restaurants, whale watches, dune tours and more. Provincetown is the home of the Pilgrim Monument which is the tallest all-granite structure in the United States. It commemorates the landing of the Pilgrims in Provincetown and their signing of the Mayflower Compact before moving to Plymouth, MA and settling there. Provincetown makes a great day trip.
